I grew up in a large family of business entrepreneurs and from a young age I began working in a number of my families businesses. My early years I started out as a junior receptionist for our managing consulting practice, became the all-rounder office chick in our sign writing company, assisting in a financial planning business to managing 2 highly successful restaurants.
The first 20 years of life I was a sponge, gleaning knowledge about how to have a successful business learning from mistakes, failures and of course successes! My work is much more than numbers, it’s really about business management, but it all does come down to the numbers, they just don’t lie.
I went on to study accounting and bookkeeping and became a registered BAS and ASIC agent, my structured and detailed personality does love it and that is why I am good at what I do!
I have a large client base and currently work within a number of fields including hospitality, a number of trades (gotta love the tradies), occupational therapists, finance professionals and more.
Apart from making sure your numbers are in great shape, I have a love of travel, my dogs (all dogs really) and doing puzzles. I’m a mum of 5 and my ‘baby’ only has a couple of years left of school.
